Joy Gresham was played by Karen Kennedy as an intelligent, self-assured woman who is not at all intimidated by Jack's professor friends.  Jack's arrogant colleague, Christopher Riley (played by Tim Simpson), was put in his place several times by Joy's sharp tongue and intellect.

The Hiding Place..."Each character in this play represents the people involved and is so intense that it would be an exercise in futility to describe them all here. However, Australian actress Karen Kennedy was completely real as Corrie Ten Boom."

Helen Keller..."Most impressive was Karen Kennedy of Crestline as Annie. She played her as a big mouth, hot tempered Irish bombshell who didn't take nothin' from nobody. She made the transition from sullen teenager to firm, hard-nosed and loving teacher before our very eyes."

Joseph..."Karen Kennedy was perfect as the spoiled, tantrum-prone wife to Pharoah's assistant Potiphar, and a humourous temptress to Joseph. Her rendition of "Come and Stay with Me", an anthem of infidelty throughout the play, was playful and teasing. It added just the right texture to her character's personality."
